TECHNICAL EVENTS

Paper Fuze +

Paper Fuze

PaperFuze is a platform for tech enthusiasts to present research and creative solutions on cutting-edge topics like AI, IoT, and Cybersecurity. Participants showcase their findings through technical presentations and innovative ideas. Gain feedback, network with peers, and bring your ideas to life.

Venue: Seminar Hall II

Timing: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Rules & Regulations:

  • Team Size: 3 to 5 members per team; participants from different institutions are allowed.
  • Presentation: Prepare 7 to 14 PowerPoint slides; prototypes are encouraged.
  • Submission: Abstract, paper, and presentation must be emailed before the event.
  • Time Limit: 5-15 minutes for presentation, followed by a Q&A session.
  • Juding panel decision is a final decision; violations of rules may lead to disqualification.
Code Arena +

Code Arena

Code Arena is a technical coding event where participants (individual or in teams of two) compete in programming challenges. They will debug code, complete code snippets, answer assertion-reasoning questions, and solve problems based on programming concepts. Basic knowledge of C, Java, and Python is required.

Venue: ITSS LAB

Timing: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Rules & Regulations:

  • A team can have maximum of 2 members.
  • No two teams should communicate with each other. In case of any queries, they must discuss only with the event coordinators or volunteers.
  • Any act of cheating or misconduct will lead to immediate disqualification
  • The tie-breaker rules will be followed in case of a score tie in any round.
Bug Hunt +

Bug Hunt

Bug Hunt is a Treasue hunt based coding challenge with three rounds. In the Quiz Round, teams of 2-3 members answer programming questions on Java, Python, and C. In the Debugging Round, teams find hidden questions, fix bugged code given in JAVA, and can request clues with penalties. In the final round, the three selected teams should execute their debugged code and produce appropriate results.

Venue: CSE Department classroom - LHS206

Timing: 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Rules & Regulations:

  • Each team must consist of 2-3 members.
  • Teams must complete the quiz within the given time.
  • Teams must find hidden questions in the classroom before receiving their bugged code.
  • Up to three clues can be requested, with each clue incurring a penalty.
  • Winners are judged on accuracy, debugging efficiency, and clues used; ties are decided by completion time.
Sprintzz +

Sprintzz

The Vibrant Code Relay is a team-based event where participants solve Python programming questions. Every 15 minutes, answers are swapped, and teams continue solving each other's code. The final round includes advanced questions, and winners are judged based on performance.

Venue:CSE Department Classrom - LHS207

Timing: 10:15 AM – 12:15PM

Rules & Regulations:

  • Each team must have exactly 2 members; no changes are allowed after registration.
  • Participants must submit their code within the allocated time; late submissions and unauthorized resources are strictly prohibited.
  • Each round lasts 30 minutes, with 15 minutes for initial coding and 15 minutes for solving swapped solutions.
  • Teams will be provided with a secret code for evaluation and judging purposes.
  • Communication between teams during coding rounds is strictly prohibited.
Design the Pixels +

Design with Pixels

Participants will design an app based on a randomly chosen domain, such as e-commerce or social media or any domain. The event consists of two rounds. Winners are selected based on creativity, uniqueness, and points earned.

Venue: ITSS LAB

Timing: 9.30 AM – 12.30 PM

Rules & Regulations:

  • External resources can be used for references, but images must be integrated into the design.
  • Rule violations lead to disqualification.
  • Tie-breaker: Time taken to complete the design
  • The use of AI resources is not permitted.

NON-TECHNICAL EVENTS

Chic in Runway +

Chic in Runway

Chic in Runway is a stylish and eco-friendly fashion contest where creativity meets sustainability. Contestants craft stunning outfits using only newspapers and colored papers, turning imagination into wearable art—all inspired by a unique theme.

Venue: CSE Department Classroom - LHS209 & LHS210

Timing: 9:45 AM – 12:45 PM

Rules & Regulations:

  • Each participating team must have 3 to 4 members,Participants must bring their own art supplies like glue, tape, scissors etc
  • Newspapers will be provided by organizers
Squid Game +

Squid Game

Squid Game is a team challenge where squads of four race against the clock to complete skill-based tasks. Players take turns completing challenges with strict rules and penalties for failures. The team that finishes the most tasks in the shortest time wins.

Venue: CSE Department Classroom - LHS208

Timing: 10:15 AM – 1:15 PM

Games:

  • Gravity Arc: Flip the bottle 2 times.
  • Spinjitzu: Top must spin for 10 secs.
  • Shadow Pulse: Bounce the ball 5 times on a TT bat, alternating sides with each hit.
  • Mystic Throw: Toss the ball into 2 of 6 cups.

Rules & Regulations:

  • 4 players' legs tied together.
  • Each player plays one game in fixed order.
  • One substitution allowed; replaced player cannot play any other games.
  • 3 failed attempts per game= punishment.
  • Time limit: 10 minute per Team.
IPL Auction +

IPL Auction

IPL Auction is a two-round event where participants first take an IPL quiz to qualify. In the second round, teams bid on players to build their dream team within a budget, testing their knowledge, strategy, and decision-making.

Venue: CSE Department Classroom - LHS205

Timing: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Rules & Regulations:

  • 3 members per team.
  • Each team will be given a budget of 70 crore.
  • Criteria for creating a perfect team is to have 3-4 batsmen, 1 wicketkeeper (must), 2-3 all-rounders, and 2-3 bowlers.
  • Team should have minimum of 11 players
